Our approach

How we plan and deliver a project.

Here’s what happens from the first conversation through launch and ongoing improvement.

01

Talk through the problem

We learn how things work now, where people run into trouble and what you would like to improve.

02

Agree the priorities

Together we decide what the first phase needs to cover and what can wait.

03

Review a prototype

We show you early versions of the main screens or workflows. It is easier to make decisions when you can see and use something.

04

Build and test

We build in stages and show you progress throughout the project. Testing happens as we go.

05

Launch and improve

We check the finished work on different devices, launch it and deal with any early issues. Later improvements are based on how people use it.

Working together

You’ll know where the project stands.

You’ll have a main point of contact, regular updates and agreed review points. We discuss changes before making them and flag problems early.

We’ll tell you when we’re unsure or when a smaller solution would be better.

How we make decisions

A few things that keep projects on track.

These guide the choices we make throughout the work.

Show the work early

A real draft is easier to discuss than a long explanation of what might be built later.

Name the trade-offs

Every choice affects time, cost or flexibility. You should understand that before deciding.

Think about the customer

Internal preferences matter less than whether the person using the result can get where they need to go.
